Picnic & Pickle Ball – Ready, set, serve! We’re heading to AOII Secretary Cindy’s neighborhood pickle ball courts for some friendly games and some grub. If you have paddles and experience, bring them! If not, let your sisters teach you how to play this sport that’s growing in popularity. We’ll start at noon on September 9. Books on Tap – We love supporting non-profits like Reach Out & Read, and the organization’s signature event, Books on Tap, has become a yearly tradition for many AOII members. Join us September 28 from 5-8pm at Chicken N Pickle at 5901 W. 135th St., Overland Park, KS 66223. What can you expect from this event? Plenty of delicious food and drinks from Chicken N Pickle’s menu, of course, as well as a silent auction, raffles, and games and activities. More details on tickets coming soon!
