Lenna Levitch
Lenna Levitch, 2020 KCAOII Woman of the Year

The Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi is honored to recognize Lenna Levitch as Woman of the Year for 2020.

Lenna was also recognized by the Greater Kansas City Panhellenic as KCAOII’s representative. (Scroll down to see her fabulous “throwback” pic from college!)

Lenna became of member of the Phi chapter of AOII at the University of Kansas, where she received her B.S. in human biology. Later, she attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, N.Y., earning her Master’s of Science in genetic counseling.

Lenna has been a lifelong volunteer for AOII. She serves on the KCAOII board and remains an active member of the Alumnae Advisory Board for the Delta Pi collegiate chapter at the University of Central Missouri’s.

Lenna is also the founder and president of DNAXPRT Consulting LLC, a group of board-certified genetic counselors in private practice who provide hereditary risk-assessment services for health systems and hospitals across eight states. Lenna has been married to her kindergarten crush, Rob, for 32 years. She is the proud mother of Demi, a kindergarten Montessori teacher in Boulder, Colo., and Mya, a fine arts major at the University of Nebraska.

When asked about her favorite sorority memory, Lenna recalls, “I served as V.P. of Membership for Phi Chapter, and we recruited the largest pledge class our recolonized chapter had ever taken. I think it was about 56 new members! I can still recall the joy and pride I felt while watching every single one of these women be initiated into our sisterhood.”

Congratulations, Lenna! We are so proud of your sisterhood!

(Did you find Lenna in the “throwback” pic below? That’s her in the bottom right in the blue shirt with the beautiful curly hair and fabulous smile. Except for the curly hair, she looks EXACTLY the same! Another win for Lenna!)
