Founders’ Day Recap
On January 16, KC AOII sisters gathered via Zoom to celebrate our 124th Founders’ Day. Although this Founders’ Day felt a quite different than last year’s big celebration, the love of our Fraternity and admiration for Stella, Hellen, Jessie and Elizabeth were as strong as ever.
Our Zoom brunch included lots of catching up (it’s been a while since we’ve seen each other!) and a short ceremony. After watching the Founders’ Day message and reading the Ruby Fund message, gathered sisters reflected on how resilient the AOII women of our history were during tough times, which gave inspiration to us, knowing that we will make it through this current pandemic.
This year, admission to Founders’ Day was a donation to the Ruby Fund, which helps sisters in need. We raised $160 for the Ruby Fund! Thank you to all who donated.
