We had a great time at Founders’ Day this year as women from a variety of different collegiate chapters came together and enjoyed lunch at Grand St. Café. We also congratulated two members on 25 years of AOII sisterhood.
The largest group of sisters came from the Phi chapter at the University of Kansas.
Almost all of the KCAOII board was able to make the event, including one of our newest board members, Shannon, who will be helping with Scholarships.
We held a modified Candlelighting Ceremony and reflected on the lives of our fearless founders, Jessie, Bess, Helen & Stella. Everyone seemed to enjoy the new format and timing of Founders’ Day and we look forward to an even better event next year!
