On April 29, six AOIIs attended the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Panhellenic Annual Meeting Luncheon at Indian Hills Country Clu to honor each sorority’s Woman of the Year and four local scholarship award winners. The event also included a silent auction and raffle. The funds raised during the silent auction and raffle go to the Greater KC Alum Panhellenic Scholarship fund.
The KCAOII Woman of the year was Malinda Hillebrenner. You can read all about Malinda here. Grace Anderson, a junior at UCM and a member of the Delta Pi chapter of AOII was awarded one of the four scholarships that was given out.
Thanks Judith Zivanovic & Courtney Eiterich, there were four auction items donated from our chapter. Courtney donated a pair of Kate Spade earrings and a wine basket which included a wine tasting through her company Traveling Vineyards. Judith donated some lovely lithographs. The one pictured below was purchased immediately as a Buy It Now! item.
KCAOII Kim Hendricks, our Panhellenic Delegate, was an essential part of the luncheon as she helped plan and organize the event. Courtney, although she has served as Greater KC Panhellenic Alum treasurer for a while, was formally installed during the meeting as well.
All in all, we had a great time and represented AOII extremely well.
