Women throughout Alpha Omicron Pi are devoted to supporting Arthritis Foundation and other arthritis related programs. Here’s how members of our alumnae chapter are helping the cause this September and you should too!
- Strike Out Arthritis – On September 18, our sisters will gather at Kaufmann Stadium to watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Chicago White Sox! The Royals will donate $8 from every ticket sold (through our special ticket portal) to our Strike Out Arthritis initiative. Money raised from this events goes directly to AOII’s Arthritis Fund, which provides grants to the Arthritis Foundation and other arthritis-related initiatives each year. - Healing Hands for Arthritis – Book a Massage Envy appointment for Wednesday, September, 28th. On this day $10 from every 1-hour massage or facial and 10% of select retail products sold on the day goes to Arthritis Foundation. What a great excuse to treat yourself! - Donate to our Jingle Bell Run team – Whether you’re going to participate in the walk/ run on December 11 or just want to donate to help our team fundraise, we ask that every woman of AOII get involved. This is our main fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation each year and we’d love your support to make this the best year yet! - Art for Arthritis – Although AOII isn’t directly involved with this event, it is still a fun way to support our philanthropy, and most importantly the 3,000 children in our area who are affected by arthritis. On September 9, attendees can look forward to an evening of drinks, heavy appetizers, a silent auction and an exciting live auction featuring the artwork the children and artists have created together.
