My name is Lauren Michelle Buys. I was born on March 3 and raised in Independence, Mo. I graduated from William Chrisman High School and went to Quincy University in Quincy, Ill., for roughly three years and then transferred and finished my degree at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo. I currently live in Independence, Mo, and work in Kansas City, Mo.
Fun Facts:
- I truly love animals — maybe a little too much for my own good. If I see a stray animal, I will chase it down until I find it. This could take me (and HAS taken me!) hours to find the little one!
- The older I get, the more I understand and appreciate that my mother is truly my best friend.
- I would be a vegetarian if it wasn’t for … silly McDonald’s Big Macs.
