Joey Gander, VP Programming
I pledged the Delta Pi Chapter of AOII at UCM in 1997. I am currently serving as the VP of Programming for the Kansas City Area Alumnae Chapter, and in the past have served as both the Chapter Advisor and Corporate Board President for the Delta Pi Chapter.
I currently work in Human Resources at the Corporate Headquarters for AMC Theatres, which is located in Leawood, Kansas. My dream growing up was to get someone to pay me to either read books or watch movies- this position was as close as I could get!
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this past October, and together we have two little boys and two dogs who cause us to not know if we are coming or going on most days.
In other news, my favorite drink is Jameson with Cranberry Juice (I’m Irish), I hope the Royals win the World Series this year, and AOII is important to me because it is a wonderful feeling to be part of something that is so much bigger than just yourself, as well as to be part of am organization that helps develop such strong, giving and independent women who are full of both style and grace!
