A few weeks ago, the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Chapter held its first trivia fundraising event, and it was a great success!
Around 25 people participated on five teams in the event held at Conroy's Pub in Lawrence. The cost to participate was $10 per person, and after giving a $50 cash prize to the winning team and a $50 thank-you gift to Tom for running the trivia show, we made a profit of $150!
The proceeds will go towards scholarship funds through the Greater Kansas City Alumnae Panhellenic and University of Central Missouri, along with other philanthropic activities such as arthritis research and the AOII Foundation.
Thanks to everyone who participated! We hope to make this at least an annual event, and possibly even holding it twice per year, alternating between Lawrence and Kansas City.
