Spring Break is right around the corner, but we encourage you and your family members to take part in this wonderful philanthropy opportunity.
We've arranged to visit the Midnight Farm facility operated by Community Living Opportunities (CLO), an organization that aids individuals with developmental disabilities. We'll take a tour of the farm's barn/arena/lodge, see their therapeutic riding area, and hear about their plans for horticulture and gardening.
After the tour, we'll work with some of CLO's clients on arts and crafts projects.
The Midnight Farm is located 7 miles southwest of Eudora, Kansas, off K-10 highway.
Please RSVP as soon as possible to Jenny so she can let CLO know how many volunteers to expect. You can email Jenny at applebugg {at} gmail {dot} com.
Later this month we'll have a program on Landscaping Your Garden. We'll send an email with more information. If you're not currently receiving our emails, please contact us at kcaopi {at} gmail {dot} com.
