This information is taken from the AOII International website:

This spring, AOII will participate in its first annual International
Day of Service as an organization to help to recognize and commemorate
the significance of our commitment to serve.  True to our purpose,
AOII is now working to unite all collegians and alumnae of Alpha Omicron
Pi in celebration of this common principle.  We want you to
participate!

Centered around the date of March 4, 2010, all AOIIs are encouraged
to join together to set aside some time to “march forth” in
some capacity of serving others.  Even though the International Day
of Service focuses on this date, there are no restrictions!  If
schedule issues arise, members are encouraged to use the first week of
March in the planning of their service event.

To participate in the International Day of Service, members will be
asked to participate in a day-long awareness campaign, AOII Goes Blue,
in addition to a service project.  Although we do not want to limit
the creativity of our chapters and members, a manual to aid in the
planning of the day of service has been completed.

An International Day of Service manual is available on the AOII website if you are interested in learning more about this event.

If you have any suggestions for a sisterhood activity for Kansas City members, please let us know!
